This Privacy Policy explains how DocCertify ("we") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our document issuance and verification platform.

Information we collect

Account data (name, email, organization details); document data you provide to issue certificates and letters (recipient names, emails, and the content you enter); billing data processed by Stripe; and basic usage and verification analytics (including approximate country of verification, never full IP addresses).

How we use it

To provide the service — issuing documents, generating verification pages, sending transactional emails, processing payments, and improving the product. We do not sell your data or your recipients' data.

Data processing on your behalf

When you upload recipient information to issue documents, you are the data controller and we act as your data processor. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request.

Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise them.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, isolated per organization, and handled following OWASP best practices.
