Founding Engineer

Full-time Remote (India) · or Srinagar / Jammu

Own whole features end to end — database, backend and interface — on a product that is already live and being used.

What you'd do

  • Build features end to end across Postgres, Next.js server code and the interface
  • Work directly on issuance, verification and the e-signature workflow
  • Write the migration, the tests and the failure handling — not just the happy path
  • Talk to customers about what broke and why, and fix it

What we're looking for

  • Strong TypeScript, and genuine comfort with SQL rather than only an ORM
  • You have shipped something people actually used and can talk about what went wrong
  • You think about the failure cases without being asked
  • You are comfortable being the second engineer, which means no one to hand the hard part to

Nice to have

  • Next.js App Router and React Server Components
  • Supabase or Postgres row-level security
  • PDF generation, cryptography, or anything adjacent to document integrity
